Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Audfluent ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you interact with our website, services, and communications. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and applicable national privacy laws.

1. Data controller

Audfluent is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with this website and our services. For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at hello@audfluent.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only when necessary to provide our services or run our website:

  • Contact data — name, email address, social media handles, and any other information you voluntarily share when you reach out to us.
  • Business data — audience metrics, engagement data, and other professional information shared during the discovery and partnership phase.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps. Collected automatically via standard server logs.
  • Communication data — email exchanges, meeting notes, and content shared during our collaboration.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries and evaluate potential partnerships.
  • To deliver our services (product development, advertising campaigns, sales, customer care) on behalf of partnered creators.
  • To comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
  • To improve our website and services through aggregated, anonymized analytics.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:

  • Consent — when you voluntarily contact us or subscribe to communications.
  • Contract — when processing is necessary to perform our partnership agreement with you.
  • Legal obligation — when we must retain or disclose data for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
  • Legitimate interest — for limited technical analytics that help us maintain and improve the website.

5. Data sharing and processors

We share personal data with trusted service providers strictly necessary to deliver our operations. These currently include:

  • Hosting and CDN provider (Cloudflare).
  • Email and productivity provider (Zoho Mail).
  • Advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads) — only data necessary to run campaigns on behalf of partnered creators.
  • Payment processors and accounting systems for partner payouts.

All processors are bound by data processing agreements compliant with GDPR. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU unless adequate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent).

6. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or as required by law:

  • Inquiry contacts (unsigned partnerships): up to 24 months.
  • Active partnership data: for the duration of the partnership plus 10 years (Italian civil and tax law).
  • Technical logs and analytics: up to 12 months.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") where applicable.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@audfluent.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

Our website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for basic functionality. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. Should this change, we will request your consent through a cookie banner in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive and Italian regulations.

9. Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes HTTPS encryption across the entire website, encrypted backups, and access controls on internal systems.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email (for active partners) or through a prominent notice on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
